Flagship course
Cohort Signal Lab
A six-week studio where you build a performance system for one real cohort—metric contracts, rhythm boards, and facilitator review rituals included.
Modules
- Metric contracts — write the definitions stakeholders will actually honor.
- Intake fingerprints — baseline skills and context without over-surveying.
- Weekly rhythm boards — attendance, practice, and support load on one canvas.
- Intervention timing — decide when a nudge is useful versus noise.
- Sponsor-ready slices — brief formats that keep nuance.
- Handoff kit — leave a system someone else can run next intake.
Learning outcomes
- Publish a cohort performance dictionary tailored to your format.
- Operate a weekly review that takes under forty minutes.
- Explain retention with late joiners and partial completers included.
- Separate facilitator workload signals from learner progress signals.
Learner notes
The week-three critique of our rhythm board was blunt: we were counting logins as “effort.” Fixing that definition mattered more than any chart color.
Useful, though the sponsor brief templates assume you already have stakeholder access. If your org walls off data, schedule that unlock before module five.
FAQ
Do I need a BI tool?
No. The lab starts in spreadsheets and only migrates concepts when your volume demands it.
Is this suitable for corporate L&D cohorts?
Yes, especially multi-week skill programs. Pure content libraries without cohorts will feel mismatched.
What is a real limitation?
We do not automate data pipelines for you. If your LMS exports are messy, expect to spend time cleaning sample data during weeks one and two—Engine Gatehub will coach, not ingest your production warehouse.
Timezone for live labs?
Sessions lean toward ICT (Bangkok) evenings, with recordings for review—not as a substitute for critique circles.
